Who We Are

Bob Carroll, CPA, CFP®, CDFA™

After personally going through a divorce, Bob recognized a need to better serve those considering or in the midst of this difficult process. He has a passion for helping people and recognized that these clients were underserved when it came to their finances. This is what prompted Bob to create Carroll Financial, a specialized service provided by Carnegie Investment Counsel.

Bob is currently the managing Director of the Carnegie Investment Counsel, Cincinnati office, where he focuses on the unique needs of his clients and their families. Bob began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at the Cincinnati office of Ernst & Young, from there he went on to become an executive officer of Fifth Third Bank.

In addition to his professional licenses, Bob holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame (BBA – Accountancy) and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University. Bob serves on the Board of Life Enriching Communities as well as a Finance / Investment Committee for GLAD House.

“Divorce can be overwhelming and exhausting, and for many, the financial aspect adds to that stress. I have found the best way to approach this complex and intimidating process with clients is to help educate and guide them one step at a time so they feel empowered to make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.”
